I posted this after coming home from fuge camp last year! It's so great looking back at what I learned a year ago.

Just getting back from fuge camp, I’m thinking differently now. It’s so nice to know that little kids can be thankful for what they have. And here I am being a hypocrite; sitting at caribou with my laptop, ipod, and phone surrounding me. The kids that I worked with were so thankful for what little they own, they weren’t selfish, they weren’t stuck up, they weren’t begging for more.
Over the past two weeks I’ve learned not to do what you want and to be thankful for what God gives you. Whether it’s an opportunity or a tangible item. I also learned that being tired is not an excuse. In the end, if you do what God wants you to do, you will be blessed.
how could you ever take mountains for granted?
Both look fantastic!
They sure do. Why is this such a blatant reminder of Tiger Jam?

I went to help out with a girls camp this past week; I got back yesterday. I went to play guitar for the worship and help out with one of the cabins. I was really out of my comfort zone playing guitar in front of 50 girls.
And honestly, I wasn’t excited about it at all because it was the week of my 16th birthday. I was being so selfish. It turns out that I got a great group of girls and 3 girls accepted Christ on my birthday! What more of a gift could I possibly ask for? God is so so good.
I learned that I need to do what is right, not what I want to do.
