Just getting back from fuge camp, I’m thinking differently now. It’s so nice to know that little kids can be thankful for what they have. And here I am being a hypocrite; sitting at caribou with my laptop, ipod, and phone surrounding me. The kids that I worked with were so thankful for what little they own, they weren’t selfish, they weren’t stuck up, they weren’t begging for more.
Over the past two weeks I’ve learned not to do what you want and to be thankful for what God gives you. Whether it’s an opportunity or a tangible item. I also learned that being tired is not an excuse. In the end, if you do what God wants you to do, you will be blessed.
